E1: The wrist is in neutral to extension. Active finger movement is present.

 

F1: The wrist flexes during active finger movement. The wrist position is ≤ 20°

 

F2: Wrist flexion on active finger movement is ˃ 20°. Active wrist extension is present.

 

F3: Wrist flexion is 20°. The force of the hand on the object passively extends the wrist.

 

F4: Wrist movement is absent. Finger movement is present.

 

F5: The wrist is flexed ˃ 20°. Active wrist and finger movement is absent.
